Terms of Use

By creating an account or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

You must be at least 18 years old. If you apply on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to share its information with us.

Keep your information accurate and your credentials safe. Your account is personal: do not share it or apply in the name of someone else.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. Everything you send, including your answers, pitch deck and documents, remains yours. You give Canastra permission to store, copy and analyze it only to evaluate your application and to keep the records described in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you submit, including information about co-founders and any third-party information in your documents.

We treat your application as confidential and share it only with the Canastra team and the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

Like most venture firms, we do not sign non-disclosure agreements at the application stage. We see many companies, some of them working on similar ideas, and we may evaluate or invest in companies that compete with yours. Information that is public, that we already knew or that we develop independently is not covered by this confidentiality.

Submitting an application does not create any obligation for Canastra to invest, to admit you to the Residency or to provide feedback. Decisions are made at our sole discretion, and any timelines we mention are estimates.

Applying is free. Canastra never charges a fee to review an application.

When you upload a pitch deck, the Application may suggest answers based on it. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before accepting: what you submit is your responsibility.

Do not use the Application to submit false information, upload malicious files, try to access other people’s data or accounts, or interfere with how the Application works. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

We work to keep the Application available and your progress saved, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, Canastra is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Application.

You can stop using the Application at any time and ask us to delete your account and data, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top always shows the latest version. If you keep using the Application after a change, the new version applies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
